The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Florida State University (FSU) seeks to fill a full-time, 12-month renewable Teaching Faculty I position beginning in Spring 2024. This is a continuing, non-tenure track position with opportunities for promotion and career advancement. The successful candidate’s primary responsibility will be teaching undergraduate organic chemistry lecture courses and associated laboratory courses, as well as participate in curriculum development within their discipline.
Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. or highest-level terminal degree from an accredited institution in chemistry or biochemistry or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching.
