Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Inorganic or Physical Chemistry
Tulane University, New Orleans, LA
Applications are invited for a tenure track position at the assistant professor level in Inorganic Chemistry or Physical Chemistry. Applicants with research in the areas of energy, catalysis, materials, and environmental chemistry are particularly encouraged to apply. We are seeking candidates with outstanding research credentials who will complement existing research strengths and demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence. Competitive startup funds will be provided.
Applicants must submit a cover letter summarizing their background, a curriculum vita with a list of publications, and a summary of their research plans (five pages maximum). Applicants should also arrange to have three letters of reference submitted on their behalf. The university has 11 schools including Science and Engineering, Medicine, Public Health, Law and Business. The Chemistry Department is a part of the School of Science and Engineering.
Qualifications:
Applicants with research in the areas of energy, catalysis, materials, and environmental chemistry are particularly encouraged to apply.
A PhD in Chemistry or a related field is required.
