Suburban Hospital has an immediate opportunity for a Preventative Maintenance Mechanic. This is a 2nd Shift position, 3PM to 11:30PM. Some weekend and on call work required.

Non-exempt. Starting hourly rate is $22.00 to $29.00, based on experience.

As Preventative Maintenance Mechanic, you will:

Performs functions in keeping with safe hospital and industrial standards and practices.
Will be required to work a varied schedule in keeping with the time schedule of the availability of the equipment to be maintained.
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Weekend work required as needed. Some on call work required. Schedule may vary at times based on department needs.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED.

Attendance at a trade school for in an electrical or HVAC program is preferred.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

1 year of experience in preventive maintenance preferred; experience in a hospital a plus.
