Your opportunity:The Registration and Information Assistant provides registration and information services to patients of the Faculty of Dentistry.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Acting as the first point of contact for general enquiries
  • Probing for information to establish needs
  • Resolving issues within the scope of the role and escalating problems as required
  • Handling sensitive and/or confidential information
  • Handling fees and/or fines on a regular basis
  • Issuing receipts

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • College Diploma (2 years) or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication and front line skills.
  • Good computers skills and keyboarding skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, and good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Courtesy, tact, perceptiveness and good judgment.
  • Initiative, reliability and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the team.

Assets (Nonessential):
  • Experience in dental office is considered an asset.
  • Financial/accounting experience is preferred
