Job Description Summary

The IT Support Specialist will consult with and provide technical expertise, support and training for faculty, staff, and students.
Job Description
Duties may include:
- Staff IT Help Center and respond to telephone, chat, email and in-person requests for computing and networking support.
- Support MS Office 365 applications and provide user training.
- Onboard staff/provide orientations.
- Write help documentation.
- Assist instructors with use of classroom presentation equipment.
- Provide technical support for video conferencing.
- Assist with editing audio and video class recordings.
- Build and deploy Dell and Mac systems.
- Maintain network print/copy/scan stations.
- Maintain media systems and equipment in classrooms and event spaces.
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining room technology infrastructure.
- Manage loaners/rental of specialized equipment.
- Escalate problems to managers as appropriate.
