This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.
The Student Auditor will receive experience in accounting functions and reconciliation´s as they relate to a multifaceted organization. These skills include:
• Gain understanding of concepts and principles of fund accounting
• Learn critical thinking as it relates to financial analysis
• Develop skills in auditing processes and transactions
• Develop high end spreadsheet analytical and data set skills
• Learn how multiple sources generate transactions that effect the general ledger and learn how to track transactions
- Assist in preparation of various work order reports
- Assist in updating Facilities project database
- Assist with various financial and account analysis
- Generate various financial reports
- Work with Assistant Director of Housing and Facilities on projects
- Various projects as assigned
- Excel, THD (The Housing Director), and PeopleSoft are primary applications used
• Must be able to work well with others and independently
• Must be organized and have excellent attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Successful completion of a Standard Criminal History Background Check

Preferred Qualifications• Applicants pursuing Accounting, Business Administration, Business Economics, Business Education, Banking and Financial Economics or similar majors are encouraged to apply
• Current coursework or completion of Elements of Accounting and Advanced Spreadsheet Applications is helpful
