Summary:
The Multimedia Marketing Specialist for Temple University’s College of Science and Technology (CST) supports the college’s marketing, communications, and enrollment strategies through the web, email, text, social media, and print channels. This position will be responsible for content management and design development for new and existing CST websites.
The Multimedia Marketing Specialist serves as a visual designer and technical resource for CST’s web, digital and print projects. Develops and manages email marketing campaigns, including with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and other forms of digital outreach. Produces and posts content for social media networks (including, but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook) that support the college’s overall marketing and recruitment strategies. Perform other related duties as assigned.
This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote). The duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the hiring department.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and one year of digital marketing experience with a high level of expertise working with email marketing platforms, website development and optimization, and graphic design. Experience utilizing website content management systems such as Drupal. Experience utilizing social media publishing tools and email marketing tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills & Abilities:
*Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize, focus on tasks and objectives, and meet deadlines.
*Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as Hugo and Bootstrap.
*Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
*Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
*Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
*Proficiency with modern publishing, web-based communication methods, and tools.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
