Job Summary

The CEPD Coordinator/Scheduler is responsible for creating, managing, and maintaining all classes for the Adult General Education Program. In addition, this position is also responsible for classroom assignments for all Continuing Education & Professional Development (CEPD) college wide to secure State reporting integrity.

Duties & Responsibilities

•Creates, manages, and maintains all classes for the Adult General Education Program
•Assists with report preparation utilized in academic course analysis and maximization
•Assists with the implementation of policies, procedures and guidelines related to the Adult General Education Program
•Coordinates with CEPD offices college wide to ensure academic schedule accuracy and efficiency
•Plans and maximizes space utilization and enrollment through 25Live
•Ensures adherence with the academic schedule development timeline and assists with the scheduling process for registration
•Runs and analyzes queries required to ensure data accuracy and corrects errors prior to student enrollment
•Assists with ongoing analysis to identify issues, develops reports and presents solutions for scheduling and room utilization
•Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in related field and three (3) years of academic scheduling or related experience; or Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in related field and seven (7) years of academic scheduling or related experience
•All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
•Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives and policies and
procedures
•Proficiency with 25Live and PeopleSoft Campus Solutions
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office software with strong Excel skills that allow for the interpretation of complex reports
•Excellent organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written)
•Ability to research academic scheduling issues and recommend solutions
•Ability to take initiative, work independently and meet College scheduling deadlines
•Possess strong interpersonal skills and able to make recommendations for improved efficiency
•Ability to work in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
