Job Details
Part-time faculty on the SAN ANTONIO campus. The successful candidate will teach lower-division undergraduate sections of the general education, first-year course MUSI 1306 (Music Appreciation). Summer teaching assignments may be available but are not guaranteed. Teaching assignments are all in face-to-face format and may include day or night classes.
Required Education and Experience:
Master’s Degree in Music or Music Education, or a related field, from a regionally accredited institution;
18 graduate hours in Music or Music Education or a similar field.
Preferred Education and Experience:
College or University teaching experience.
Experience with hands-on teaching techniques
Familiarity with the needs of a non-traditional, first-generation, student body.
Completed Ph.D. in Music or Music Education preferred
