Sanitation Laborers/Bussers serve a vital role in helping provide exceptional service to University students, staff, and guests by keeping our dining areas spotless, sanitized, and safe. Under guidance from a designated supervisor, Sanitation Laborers bus and clean dining area tables and chairs; remove trash/cardboard and sanitize trash receptacles; clean and sanitize kitchen equipment; clean, sweep and mop floors; transport equipment and dishes to and from storage locations; and wash and sanitize various surfaces in the kitchen areas as required.

Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned in support of the department/university’s mission and goals. Dining Services positions are held on the Edwardsville campus only. Shift times/days of work will vary based upon assigned unit. Food service positions may include layoff over academic breaks (winter holiday and spring break) and summer term.
