University Registrar
Dominican University (River Forest, IL), one of the nation’s most distinct Dominican Catholic institutions, invites applications, expressions of interest and nominations of candidates in its search for the next University Registrar. The University Registrar is expected to bring innovative, entrepreneurial, and seasoned leadership to the Office of the Registrar.

The University Registrar is responsible for planning, directing, and administering the operations of the University Registrar’s office in support of the Strategic Plan. Under the direction of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, the University Registrar will provide strategic leadership, motivation and support for the planning, implementation, and coordination of initiatives to promote student success and ensure the integrity and transparency of academic programs. This position plays a key role in the partnership with university leadership, Academic Affairs, Student Success and Engagement, Information Technology Services, Student Enrollment Services and other appropriate offices, to develop and implement policies and practices to improve student access, success, performance and graduation.
The University Registrar is responsible for the oversight and administration of academic, faculty, and student policies as they pertain to student records and maintenance of all academic information for Dominican University students. The University Registrar will develop and implement goals, objectives, strategies, policies, rules and operational procedures related to curriculum development, course and enrollment planning, registration, classroom scheduling and space utilization, maintenance of student records, transfer credit, NCAA certification, the degree audit system, degree validation, graduation certification, enrollment reports, and compliance with academic policies and FERPA regulations.
