Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Substitution: A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

The ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions is important for improving safety outcomes.
Problem-Solving Abilities:
Safety Program Managers need to be adept at identifying potential hazards and developing effective solutions to mitigate risks.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution. Outstanding customer service skills. Demonstrated commitment and leadership ability to advance diversity and inclusion.

- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Medical Administration, Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene or a directly related field from an accredited institution
- 2-5 years of large scale professional safety experience.

- Prefer five (5) years of experience in safety leadership.
- Prefer three (3) years of safety program management.
