Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University, in Boca Raton, Florida is seeking a Professor for the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at its campus in Jupiter.

Teaching Responsibilities – This position may include, but not limited to, teaching upper level undergraduate and graduate courses in biochemistry, developing new courses in chemical biology and redox biochemistry, and mentoring and advising undergraduate and graduate students in research.

Research/Scholarship Responsibilities – Apply for extramural grants related to his/her research expertise in the area of redox regulation and signaling in physiology and pathology, publish scholarly articles and attend conferences.

Service Responsibilities – Serve on Departmental, College and University committees, and serve on professional (external) committees related to his/her field of expertise.

Minimum Qualifications:

Position requires a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry or a closely related field.
