Job Summary:
The Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (APP: Advanced Practice Provider) interested in a career as a clinician, practicing and teaching general internal medicine in a patient-centered medical home.
The APP will have opportunity for academic promotion judged on criteria of demonstrated excellence as a clinician/educator/scholar. APPs are encouraged to collaborate with other faculty in clinical research projects.

$102,211 to $124,051 (this range would be prorated for any fractional FTE)

- Provide primary care for patients at a University of Colorado Hospital Internal Medicine Clinic for the following appointment types: new, continuity, hospital/ED follow-up, acute, and annual/wellness exams. Provide care for their empaneled patients as well as acute care for teammate's patients as needed. Share responsibilities for night, week-end, and vacation coverage with other members of the group practice. There may be opportunities to serve as a preceptor for APP students.
