Hiring/Budgeted Salary or Hourly Range: The budgeted salary range that the university reasonably expects to pay for this position is $20-$21 per hour

Full Salary Range: The full salary range for the position is $20-$21 per hour.

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant, Academic Operations (Temporary) to work remotely on a full-time 37.5-hour per week basis.

 

Summary

The Administrative Assistant Academic Operations provides administrative support for academic program leaders and the Academic Operations team, and occasional support for other academic offices. The position will be tasked with supporting the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of academic program directors which may include activities such as coordinating meeting logistics, taking minutes, managing files, and facilitating communications between program leaders and administrative offices or faculty. The position will also provide support for expense processing and the preparation of the academic budget. 

 

 QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree preferred

 

EXPERIENCE: (Amount and kind) 

  • Experience as an administrative assistant, executive assistant, or project coordinator preferred
  • Experience in education administration preferred
  • Experience supporting virtual meetings preferred
  • Basic skills in Excel, Word, OneNote, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Basic skills in project management
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Able to take initiative, exercising prudent judgement, and support the success of a team
  • Able to be precise, thorough, and detail oriented and to think analytically and creatively
  • Able to collaborate effectively via e-mail communication and virtual meetings
