Applications are invited for a specified purpose post of a HR Partner within UCD HR

An excellent opportunity to join the CIPD 2019 awarded "Best HR & L&D Team in Ireland" has arisen in UCD. This role will encompass a HRP porfolio and support Orgaisation Development/Design, Change Management projects and related initiatives. The HR Partner role is a key enabling role which is designed to support the University's ambitions to have a positive and engaging working environment in which all employees can flourish and where best practices in pursuit of that objective are embedded in each School and Unit.

The HR Partner will predominantly work closely with those holding people management responsibilities and senior management teams and will partner with them strategically and with other specialist colleagues to ensure appropriate and fit for purpose strategies are implemented and are congruent with the university's objectives and values and the goals of the School/Unit. To achieve this they operate in a consulting mode assisting with diagnosis of issues, bringing clarity to outcomes desired and the selection of appropriate strategies. This role is also a fundamental contributor to and support for raising people management capability and capacity across the university, aligned with building a performance and development oriented culture.

Salary Scale: 95 Snr Administrative Iv\2013 (2010) (7078) Salary scale: €64,215- €101,956 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
