Job Description:

The University of Florida's College of Nursing, Department of Biobehavioral Nursing Science is seeking a PhD prepared faculty member with substantive research expertise and training statistical analytic techniques. The successful candidate will have an established record of research training, including post-doctoral training, strong quantitative research skills, refereed publications, and a beginning record of funded research. He/she will also have experience working with multi-disciplinary research teams.

The candidate is expected to implement a program of research leading to external funding; contribute to the organizational development of a community of scholars; and, participate in all aspects of educational delivery, including teaching across programs.

Faculty members provide primary care and psychiatric/mental health services to underserved adults, children and families in Alachua County and surrounding areas. The College's active faculty practice also offers opportunities for interdisciplinary practice in specialty areas, across sites at UF Health.

Minimum Requirements:

PhD in statistics or related field. Strong quantitative research background and excellent writing skills are required. Post-doctoral training required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Participation on funded research team is preferred.
