The George Mason University School of Nursing (SoN), within the College of Public Health (CPH), is seeking clinical Adjunct Faculty to teach in medical/surgical, pediatric, obstetric, community, and psychiatric clinical areas. There are also opportunities available within our undergraduate laboratory courses.

Required Qualifications:

Must hold a current, unencumbered Registered Nursing license in the Commonwealth of Virginia; and Faculty in the clinical areas must hold a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree or a non-nursing Master’s with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.

Graduate Adjunct Faculty, School of Nursing (must be a Nurse Practitioner)

The George Mason University School of Nursing (SoN), within the College of Public Health (CPH), is seeking Nurse Practitioner Adjunct Faculty to teach graduate level coursework including Community Oriented Primary Care, Decision Making and Pharmacologic Management in Practice, Health Assessment in Clinical Practice, Pharmacotherapeutics, Physiology and Pathophysiology in Advanced Practice, as well as faculty to teach Practicum courses. Practicum needs are family practice, pediatrics, women’s health, and adult gerontology.

Required Qualifications:

Must hold a current, unencumbered Registered Nursing license in the Commonwealth of Virginia; and must hold a minimum of a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with current Family or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner License.

Preferred Qualifications:

Doctor of Nursing Practice or PhD degree.
