Description

The School of Business at Mount St. Joseph University invites applications for a full-time (9-month), visiting Assistant Professor of Business with a specialization in 1) sport management or 2) marketing. Position begins as early as January of 2024.

Responsibilities Include

Undergraduate and graduate teaching in sport management and/or marketing, with other business courses as assigned by Dean and Department Chair.

Academic and career advising with business students.

School of Business and University service (e.g. committee service, assessment, events).

Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Doctorate in Sport Management, Marketing or closely related area. Qualified ABD candidates will be considered. Teaching experience and/or professional experience in business is highly desirable. Background or experience in other areas of business (e.g. business/sport law, business research) is a plus. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship from the University under the Immigration Reform and Control Act. Must have a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
