Registered Nurse

Job Details

  • Respond to all campus emergencies, accidents and reports of illness.
  • Provide input on proper reporting procedures for campus emergencies and incident reporting protocols. Report such accidents to the appropriate campus personnel.
  • Evaluate team member accidents/injuries and refer to Occupational Health. Complete first report of injury for worker’s compensation claims and work with HR to file appropriate documentation.
  • Maintain AED’s at all college locations and order health supplies as needed to provide ongoing immediate healthcare for students and team members.
  • Order and distribute medical supplies and health literature to the campus community as needed such as masks and tests upon requests, condoms and STI prevention, over-the-counter medications; maintain health services facility including the ordering of supplies and record keeping.
  • Develop, coordinate, and provide alcohol, tobacco, and other drug education for team members and students. Work with HR and Student Affairs to deliver.
