The Financial Aid & Scholarships (FAS) department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire a Financial Aid Administrator to join our Project Management Team. This position provides support to the Assistant Director by coordinating activities related to all projects. The position’s main duties are to enhance department and organization processes by exploring opportunities and ensuring the continuity and efficiency of each project from start to finish through clear communication to all parties involved. The Financial Aid Administrator handles multiple projects within a fast-paced environment and is open to constant changes and challenges. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, lead and direct the work of other team members, and be able to manage multiple projects at once in the absence of day-to-day guidance.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field and three years of student services, student affairs, counseling, advising, or related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. As a condition of hire and continued employment, must be in good standing on all federal student loans and must grant permission for the office to access the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) to verify such standing.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Preferred Qualifications:
• In depth knowledge of financial aid processes, policies and procedures or ability to quickly assimilate.
