Job Details
In order to build an active pool of qualified applicants, Trident Technical College is accepting applications for adjunct faculty to teach at the Berkeley, Palmer, Dorchester, Mount Pleasant, and Thornley campuses. Day, Evening, Weekend, and Distance Learning classes will be offered.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching varying schedules at a variety of locations, utilizing technology, and using a variety of teaching methods in instruction. Preference will be given to in-person instructors over asynchronous online classes.
Teaching experience at the college level is preferred. Candidates must be able to function in an environment characterized by continual changes in informational technology. Qualified candidates may be assigned to teach mathematics courses ranging from beginning algebra through calculus III and differential equations, including probability and statistics, discrete mathematics, and contemporary mathematics. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are required.
