The Department of Mechanical Engineering prepares students for a career in the ever-growing fields of construction engineering, energy, and engineering management. Undergraduates who choose to pursue a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering will combine fundamentals of mechanical engineering with broad specialization on subjects related to construction, energy, and engineering management. For graduate students, our programs will offer opportunities to learn fundamental and applied knowledge compatible with all areas of mechanical, construction, and energy engineering. We are seeking adjunct instructors for courses offered in all areas within the department.Position Summary:
The Department of Mechanical Engineering seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2023, Spring 2024 and Summer 2024 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s in the specific course-relevant area typically in Engineering Technology/Mechanical Engineering disciplines, or closely related fields including Construction Management and Engineering Management, and a combination of relevant industry and/or teaching experience.Preferred Qualifications:
