HSI STEM Grant Program Director and Natural/Applied Sciences Professor

Role: The School of Arts and Sciences at Concordia University, Irvine, CA, invites applications for a full-time faculty member in biology, chemistry, biochemistry or engineering and Program Director for the Valerosos y Curiosos (Courage and Curiosity) federally funded grant beginning in January 2024.. The individual should demonstrate excellence in teaching and scholarship in the discipline of one of the above related fields and strong desire to work with underrepresented students and families within the sciences and mathematics fields. The faculty member will teach courses in the appropriate department, as well as oversee the federally funded grant for the 5 year duration at a minimum. CUI seeks an individual who values a Christian educational approach to higher learning and who will promote the mission, purpose, and objectives of the university, is committed to the Lutheran liberal arts tradition and desires to engage with first generation and diverse families and students. Rank and salary will be determined by credentials and experience.
