COORDINATOR FOR DIVERSITY, EDUCATION, AND ADVOCACY
Bridgewater College invites applications in its search for a Coordinator for Diversity, Education, and Advocacy. The College seeks candidates who are passionate about DEI work and serving underrepresented students, but don’t yet necessarily have robust experience in the field. Working under the direct supervision of the Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the Coordinator will be responsible for the development and implementation of programs that foster inclusive spaces, identity exploration, and cultural appreciation. Additionally, the Coordinator will also have oversight for the College’s Eagle Success program, a mentoring program designed to support traditionally underrepresented students. The comprehensive position description can be found here: https://bridgewater.box.com/s/n7q0bs6difpzqguhqc8vpxt1dxhmn7fc
This job offers the opportunity for a promotional pathway for a capable candidate who successfully fulfills the expectations of the role and is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role without having all the experience traditionally required to get started. As such, the successful candidate must demonstrate a willingness to learn on the job and have the desire to develop new DEI skills and knowledge.
Pay is competitive, and salary is commensurate with experience. This full-time position offers a full benefits package, including paid tuition at the College for eligible dependents.
