Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

This position is located off campus at a Grand Forks Head Start School.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one or small group reading support
  • Administer reading lessons under the direction of a classroom teacher - (Essential)
Required Competencies
  • Ability to plan based on individual student needs
    Ability to work in a classroom setting
Minimum Requirements
  • Must have accepted a Federal Work Study award from the Office of student Finance.
  • Successful competition of a criminal history background check
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the employed academic semester

Preferred Qualifications
  • Preference is given to Early Childhood or Elementary Education majors
