Provides quality, effective, reliable, and responsive ITS service support to FSU Students, Faculty and Staff regarding their computing needs. Preforms routine tasks in high level and secure systems. Configures, maintains, troubleshoots, or modifies computer, software, hardware, multimedia equipment, and related devices. Initiates routine diagnostics to determine cause of equipment or software failure and follows standard procedures for problem resolution. Installs and customizes application software.
Performs other duties as assigned. A State vehicle, golf cart, or utility vehicle will be used to reach site premises. A valid driver's license will be needed in order to operate vehicle.
High school diploma or equivalency
Position requires a Class E Driver's License
Experience with Microsoft Windows and MacOS.
Basic network configuration and troubleshooting skills required.
Experience with computer operations, functions, and related peripheral.
Experience working successfully in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of managers and subject matter experts.
