Job DescriptionInstruct college students in accordance with educational theories and techniques. Develops discipline related curricula, assess student learning, participates in program evaluation, and college activities. Maintains college and department standards in support of the College's mission and strategic plan.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Horticulture, Botany, or Agriculture/Agriscience or Master’s degree and 18 graduate semester hours in Horticulture, Botany, or Agriculture/Agriscience

OR

Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Botany, or Agriculture/Agriscience and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline or Bachelor’s degree or higher AND Documentation in two or more of the following: a. Professional certification (national, regional or state) b. Three years or more of in-field professional employment c. Documented evidence of teaching excellence, including the date of the award.

The work schedule varies according to the teaching assignment.
