Job Overview
Work with the Business Manager to oversee the planning and supervision of the financial activities of the department. Possibility of hybrid in-person/online work assignment.

Essential Functions
Coordinate and monitor fiscal administrative duties.
Assist in processing of guest payments, support and alternative for onboarding and other office management, etc.
Assist in the development of unit policies and procedures.
Help with contract and purchase order initialization. 
Act as liaison with publication managers and program directors to facilitate accurate reporting of costs. 
Assist with establishing workshops on expense reporting. 
Monitor the financial status of program and other budget allocations.
Prepare and maintain adjunct teaching budget.
Assist with hiring and onboarding of adjunct instructors. 
Assist faculty and staff with expense and reimbursement processing.
Post tuition scholarships, prizes/awards, fellowships, and enhancements.
Assist with booking travel for faculty and guests.
Other duties based on department need.

Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree must be in accounting or related work.
Six (6) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
Two (2) years of finance or accounting experience.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
Additional Qualifications Considered
Previous experience with higher education administration.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills.
Team mentality and willingness to collaborate with staff across the unit, college, and university. 
Aptitude for critical thinking and creative problem-solving.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
