Job Overview
Help with management of 75+ graduate student population, admissions, budget, orientation, onboarding, scholarships, scheduling and administration of exams, record keeping, trouble-shooting, primary coordinator of graduate and adjunct onboarding and initiation of PCRs, coordination and oversight of graduate and adjunct teaching assignments, etc. Possibility of hybrid in-person/online work assignment.
Essential Functions
Prepare, manage, and maintain graduate student funding budget.
Post tuition scholarships, end of year prizes/awards, travel awards, fellowships and enhancements.
Process hiring and payroll paperwork for Graduate Assistants and Fellows.
Address application inquiries and coordinating the application review, acceptance, and denial processes.
Serve as primarily point of contact for graduate students regarding issues including but not limited to graduation, registration/enrollment, student health insurance, stipends/assistantships, and academic awards and tuition.
Maintain University records in GradTracker and Catalyst.
Schedule and administer doctoral exams and dissertation defense.
Provide troubleshooting and guidance throughout the graduation application process.
Assist Graduate Directors in preparing grant and program applications and reports.
Coordinating and booking travel for graduate recruitment.
Support other administrative needs of faculty and students.
Assist with course orders and enrollment monitoring.
Providing support and troubleshooting for student registration, add/drops and withdrawals.
May prepare and edit reports and or newsletters and develop publication materials.
May provide direct or indirect supervision to student workers.
Other duties based on department need.

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree.
Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
Three (3) years of relevant experience
Additional Qualifications Considered
Previous experience with higher education administration.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills.
Team mentality and willingness to collaborate with staff across the unit, college, and university.
Aptitude for critical thinking and creative problem-solving.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
Office environment/no specific unusual physical or environmental demands.
