Job Description Summary

The Wake Forest University School of Business is seeking qualified candidates for two (2) available positions in business analytics. One position is an open rank tenured or tenure-track professor (Assistant/Associate/Full) of Business Analytics. The second position is tenure-track (Assistant). Both positions start in July 2024.

We are seeking applicants who are passionate about teaching methods-oriented courses at the Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) level in one or more of the following areas: predictive analytics, data mining, machine learning, problem framing and modeling, optimization, and simulation.

Strong candidates will use one or more of the above analytics techniques in research that is focused within the following business domains: operations management and supply chain, marketing, or management information systems. We prefer applicants who have potential for research synergies (e.g., healthcare, sustainability and social impact, etc.) with current faculty at the School of Business.

For those seeking a position as an Associate or Full Professor, significant publications in Financial Times 50 journals are a requirement. For those seeking a position as an Assistant Professor, experience as an assistant professor is preferred. Candidates should have a Ph.D. (or its equivalent) in analytics, operations management and supply chain, marketing, management information systems, management science, or a related field.
