The Stanford Graduate School of Education seeks an Assistant Professor of Science, Engineering, or Technology Education (SETE) focused on pre-K–12 education. We welcome applications from science education scholars in the fields of science-, engineering-, or technology-education, broadly conceived, including design of curriculum (and learning technologies), teaching, learning and assessment, and/or policy in formal or informal contexts. Disciplines may include, but are not limited to scholars in biology, chemistry, physics, earth, engineering, environmental, and computer science education. Stronger candidates will be contributing to more than one of these disciplines and scholarly inquiry topics. Experience with the practices of teaching, teacher education, or program design, development, support, and evaluation are desirable. Candidates should be committed to both innovation and equity. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and advising doctoral and masters students in the GSE.
Ph.D./Ed.D., or enrollment in a Ph.D./Ed.D. program with anticipated degree conferral by the time of appointment is required.

The expected base pay range for this position is $130,000 - $148,000.
Stanford University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal equity; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
