Pacific University, an outstanding private, comprehensive university located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, seeks an accomplished leader to serve as Dean of its School of Graduate Psychology (SGP). SGP is one of eight comprising Pacific’s College of Health Professions. Located on a modern campus in Hillsboro, Oregon, SGP offers three degree options: a PhD in Clinical Psychology (APA-Accredited), a PsyD in Clinical Psychology (APA-Accredited), and a Master's in Applied Clinical Psychology (MPCAC-Accredited). SGP also offers an APA-accredited Doctoral Internship and a postdoctoral residency, as well as services to the public through our in-house training clinic (Pacific Psychology & Comprehensive Health Clinics, with locations in downtown Portland and on the Hillsboro campus). SGP maintains an enrollment of approximately 200 students and offers focused training in Latino Mental Health that spans across all SGP programs. The ideal SGP Dean applicant will have a record of scholarly achievement, academic administrative leadership (including program and resource development), experience with and understanding of APA’s Standards of Accreditation, excellence in teaching and practice, and financial management experience. The successful applicant will embrace models of broad and general graduate education and training that includes preparation in health service psychology. The next Dean will support faculty research and scholarly endeavors, and commit to infusion of diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout SGP. The position reports to Pacific’s Vice Provost and Executive Dean of the College of Health Professions. The search process is underway and will continue until the position is filled.
