Responsibilities and Duties
·         Assist functional end-users and subject matter experts with report development in TU’s cloud based financial system (Oracle Cloud Financials – branded as Stratus). Initial assistance with reports required for day to day financial analysis as well as financial statements will be the focus. Assist with data, report and dashboard discovery and development. Comprehend report requests, select proper reporting tool and translate to a user-friendly report/dashboard.

·         Partner with functional leads in PBCS, ARCS, AP, AR, GL, Travel Expense, ProCard Expense, Procurement, Fixed Assets and Budgetary Control to understand each module, it’s relation to other financial modules and leverage that understanding to provide systems solutions and/or offer business process solutions to core offices as well as campus users. Provide another pillar of support and expertise for Stratus. Assist with stabilizing the new implementation of Stratus as well as after each quarterly release.

·         Pursue business process assessment and recommend improvements to further optimize the system. Actively conduct tests to expose under-utilized/ineffective functionality and propose modifications to configurations and/or business processes. Team up with technical leads to address issues, resolve, coordinate change management and training.  

·         Assist with monthly and quarterly release review, research, change control, testing and deployment.  Work with leads and the Financial Systems Training Specialist to manage the impact, change management and training. This includes critical Opt-In Expiration functionality.  Look for new ways and tools to assist leads in test planning and execution.

·         Work with Oracle on SR creation, monitoring, and resolution.  Pursue a more interactive relationship with Oracle. Spearhead Oracle enhancement requests for TU and collaborate with other Cloud institutions.  Aim to use these relationships to encourage more higher education specific design and development.



Qualifications and Skills
·         Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or closely related field. 

·         Two years of related experience.

·         General knowledge of an Enterprise System and how various modules and systems integrate business functions.

·         Strong communication and customer service skills.  Knowledge of accounting and report writing software.

·         Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems through the identification and analysis of diverse issues.

·         Ability to organize, prioritize, follow up and track multiple projects.  Work efficiently with confidence and minimal oversight.
