It is the mission of the Department of Pediatrics, East Carolina University, Brody School of Medicine, to provide exemplary medical education/training of physicians in pediatric medicine at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Additionally, it is the mission of the department to provide model comprehensive primary and consultative subspecialty care to children of eastern North Carolina, to advance scientific knowledge through basic and clinical research, and to provide continuing medical education opportunities for physicians in the region.Job Duties :
The Department of Pediatrics at East Carolina University, Brody School of Medicine, has temporary faculty positions for the various sub-specialties of Pediatrics.Minimum Education/Experience :
Sub-specialties of Pediatrics include: Cardiology, Neonatology, Nephrology, Pulmonology, Infectious Disease, General Pediatrics, Endocrinology, Hematology/Oncology, Adolescent, and Critical Care.
Faculty positions are available at the titles of Clinical Instructor, Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, Clinical Professor, Teaching Assistant Professor, Teaching Associate Professor, Teaching Professor, Research Assistant Professor, Research Associate Professor, and Research Professor.
These part-time, temporary faculty positions may have teaching, clinical, research, and administrative duties.

Physicians must have a medical degree, MD/DO, from an accredited institution.License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation :
Research faculty must have a minimum of a master’s degree for the pediatric sub-specialty for which they want to be considered.
Must have the appropriate respective license to work in North Carolina.Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education :
