Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within UCD School of Chemical and Bioprocess Engineering.

The project aims to significantly intensify pharmaceutical synthesis and production through the development of novel 3D-printed reactors and separation unit operations, to enable intensified fully telescoped/integrated continuous flow synthesis, and thereby the manufacture of drugs within miniaturized printable chemical factories. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take on a leadership position in terms of chemical process development and flow chemistry within the multidisciplinary team of synthetic & analytical chemists, chemical engineers and pharmaceutical scientists, based in the UCD O'Brien Science Centre. The ideal candidate should have experience in the development of, continuous processes/flow chemistry or separation operations (batch or continuous).

Salary Range: 42,033 - 48,427 per annum

Appointment on the above range will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
