Post Doctoral Research Associate
Focus: Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics
Description: An immediate postdoctoral position opening in the area of theoretical condensed matter physics is available in the group of Prof. Cristian D. Batista at the University of Tennessee. The position provides an opportunity to work on frustrated magnets, topological ordering, and skyrmion physics using numerical methods and quantum many-body for condensed matter systems.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: (1) Ph.D. in theoretical or computational physics. (2) Research experience in quantum condensed matter physics with emphasis on quantum magnetism. (3) Excellent numerical and computational skills. (4) Significant record of peer-reviewed publications. (5) Good communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with the physics of strongly correlated quantum systems.
