Position Description:
The UCLA Administration Marketing & Communications (AMC) team creates integrated and innovative assets and campaigns to effectively promote UCLA Administration's services to the university community - from transportation to housing and hospitality, the police department to campus maintenance, among many other business services.

Reporting directly to AMC's Marketing Director, the Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for AMC campaign planning, content development, client management, and promotions of a wide scope of programs and services offered by UCLA Administration departments. The incumbent aligns integrated marketing campaigns with Administration goals by providing comprehensive support to several departments within the division.

The Senior Marketing Manager oversees the development and execution of client marketing campaigns, collaborating with AMC leadership to produce comprehensive and integrated plans. The position supervises the Marketing Project Manager and works to establish timelines, set campaign goals and milestones, and ensure final delivery of assets to clients on time and on budget. The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with Administration clients, supporting the AMC Marketing Director in providing strategic marketing planning and consultation to the highest levels of departmental leadership. A skilled and creative writer, the Senior Marketing Manager oversees content development, working closely with clients to convert industry language into easily digestible messaging for the university audience of students, employees, and visitors. The incumbent collaborates with AMC colleagues to develop content for a variety of print and digital advertisements, developing compelling content and ensuring consistency, quality control, and broad integration of strategic marketing and creative development directions.

The Senior Marketing Manager identifies new and innovative channels for message delivery and tailors branding, content, and overall marketing campaigns to target audience and delivery channels. The position leads client feedback sessions and campaign debriefs and provides counsel in areas relating to marketing strategy. The Senior Marketing Manager also provides marketing support for client outreach events, contributes heavily to AMC team brainstorms and planning sessions, and provides support in producing important Executive-level communications and organizational strategic reports.


Special Instructions:
The targeted salary range is from $83,000 - $90,000+ annually

this is a hybrid position primarily working remotely, but requires some on-campus work based on project needs.
