Job SummaryGreet visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor. Answer routine inquiries relative to rules, regulations, policies and procedures in effect. Schedule appointments. Perform miscellaneous clerical work, including: responding to emails, answering the phone, and maintaining spreadsheets and files. Assist co-workers and the Director as needed to ensure successful Center operations.
ResponsibilitiesMarketing, Communication - 50%
Greet visitors with a friendly and professional demeanor. Answer routine inquiries relative to rules, regulations, policies and procedures in effect.
Scheduling, Record-keeping - 50%
Perform miscellaneous clerical work, including: responding to emails, answering the phone, and maintaining spreadsheets and files.
Assist co-workers and the Director as needed to ensure successful Center operations.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
High School diploma.
Other Required Qualifications
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to understand and respond to oral and written instructions and ideas.
Required Experience
Enrolled at Georgia College & State University.
Preferred QualificationsAdditional Preferred Qualifications
Minimum GPA of 3.0; Instructor recommendation
Preferred Experience
Experience in office work; Equivalent combinations of experience and education;
SKILLS
Need to be able have excellent communication skills, proficient computer skills, including MS Office suite, ZOOM meetings, advanced information technology skills, and knowledge of instructional technology.
