Facilities Services Division provides quality customer service by maintaining a safe, healthy, and aesthetically pleasing environment in which students, faculty, and staff can function and accomplish their educational objectives and by supporting a patient care culture that continuously improves. Facilities Services' responsibilities include Interior and Exterior Facilities Support, Construction, Space Management, and Environmental Services.

Job Summary
This position under general supervision provides responsible administrative and secretarial support for the Director of Environmental Services for Augusta University. This is a key position in the Environmental Services department.

Responsibilities
The duties include but are not limited to: CUSTOMER INTERFACE: Interface with campus customers. Answers telephone calls, providing correct responses to a variety of questions that may be of various natures regarding the departments' operations. Directs customers to the appropriate resource as required. SUPPORT DIRECTOR: Maintain Director's calendar, schedule meetings, make travel arrangements, process travel reimbursements, and other forms incidental to these responsibilities. Upload and maintains data for the Environmental Services database. Assist the Director in handling confidential matters related to all positions within the department; this includes disciplinary matters, candidate review, contact, and updating candidate dispositions in oneUSG.
ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS: Monitors departmental budget assuring that spendings are in line and informs the Director of any detected budget concerns. Format and type documents, proofread and edits draft material, determines the priority of incoming material, and route to appropriate managers. ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Maintains a schedule for the Director to ensure that quality control tours are regularly accomplished throughout the enterprise. Performs other real-time and frequent administrative tasks as assigned including updates to department procedures. COORDINATING PURCHASES: Prepares and processes requisitions along with other office documents. Maintains equipment inventory, and space inventory for the department. Attends meetings as directed by the Director and records minutes. Interface with external vendors as the need arise and verify that invoices are correct. DOCUMENT, PREPARATION, AND EDITING: Prepares Excel, Word, and Powerpoint documents as directed. Prepares materials for presentations, seminars, conferences, meetings, etc.. May be required to assist at seminars and/or conferences as needed. Assist in the planning and coordination of departmental projects, goals, and objectives. OTHER DUTIES: Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of three years' progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions OR High School diploma, GED, or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization and six years of progressively responsible experience in administrative support positions.

Preferred Qualifications
Five years or greater work experience in the administrative support field.

Resolutions to customer service issues and invoice validation for paymentExcellent verbal skills, as this position will require interfacing with faculty and staff at mid and upper levels ABILITIES

Detail-oriented with strong organizational, prioritization and multi-tasking skills

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days/M-F

Pay Grade: 10

Salary: $15.00/hr - $17.03/hr

Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
