UCLA Music 2023-24 Part-Time Lecturer in Cello

The UCLA Music Department invites applications for a part-time lecturer position in cello for the 2023-24 academic year. Salary commensurate with applicant qualifications and experience; percentage of appointment commensurate with studio size.
Responsibilities may include the following: individual instruction and recital preparation of graduate and undergraduate cello students, teaching cello studio class and/or coaching string chamber music ensembles, and participation in departmental auditions and juries.
Applicants should have an established regional, national, and/or international reputation as a performer and teacher with expertise and experience in broad repertoires. A post-baccalaureate degree is preferred.
The application deadline is July 2, 2023, with an anticipated appointment date of October 1, 2023.
