Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital is excited to accept applications for the Pediatric RN Residency Program. This program offers a unique opportunity for aspiring nurses to be hired directly into various departments, including Pediatric Medicine, Surgical Neuroscience, Hematology /Oncology, Acute Care Float Pool, CVICU, PICU, NICU, CDH and the Emergency Center.

As part of the application process, candidates will have a chance to choose up to three panels for their interviews.

The interview panels are structured as followed:

Panel 1 - Peds Medicine and Surgical Neuroscience

Panel 2 - Hematology /Oncology and Acute Care Float Pool

Panel 3 - CVICU and PICU

Panel 4 - NICU and CDH (Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia)

Panel 5 - Emergency Center

RN Pediatric Residency Program applicants should have a BSN to be eligible for the Johns Hopkins All Children's RN Residency Program. Current Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital employees who have an ASN are eligible to apply to the program with an Endorsement Letter from their current Manager or Director.

Requirements for the Residency Program:

-Any nurse who has not worked in the RN Role for greater than 6 months.
-Current Florida RN License will be required at least 1 week prior to start date.

For your application to be considered complete, you must upload the following documentation:

1. Resume
2. Cover letter
3. INTERNAL Applicants only - a letter of recommendation on letterhead from a direct supervisor

Incomplete applications may not be considered for this program.

Departments that will be interviewing: Pediatric Medicine, Surgical Neuroscience, Hematology/Oncology, Acute Care Float Pool, PICU, CVICU, NICU, Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH), and Emergency Center. The department participation is subject to change based on department needs.

Acute Care Float Pool - although we do not have a video created for the Acute Care Float Pool, this department will be hiring for the upcoming cohort. The Acute Care Float Pool nurses receive education & training for 3 different units and then float between the units: Hematology/Oncology, Surgical Neurosciences, and Pediatric Medicine.
