Summary

Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians (JHRP) is an affiliate of JHMMC and is a physician group organized to provide a structure where physician groups (a "Pod") can practice as employees of JHRP and as Pods within a fully-integrated group practice. JHRP will have locations throughout the State of Maryland and Washington, DC. As the Chief Operating Officer of JHRP, this position is an officer of the company with fiduciary responsibilities to ensure compliance with both internal and external policies, procedures, laws, and regulations. This position is accountable for operational oversight of the company; as well as the development and implementation of strategic plans with the Chair and JHRP Board of Directors. This position will ensure that the clinical and operational infrastructure of all Pods is in compliance with physician on-boarding, quality, safety, risk management, and regulatory regulations. Additionally this position collaborates with the Office of Johns Hopkins Physicians (OJHP) on practice acquisitions and the implementation of JHM strategic priorities.

Reporting Relationship

• Position reports directly to the Chair, Johns Hopkins Regional Physicians with dual report to the Chief Operating Officer, Office of Johns Hopkins Physicians and works collaboratively across the organization.

Education & Experience:

• Master's degree in business, healthcare administration, finance, or related field is required.
• 5-10 years experience in a leadership position in physician practice operations and/or physician engagement/employment, in an integrated health system.
