Job Summary:

The Instructor/Fellow will provide direct clinical care under the supervision of an attending psychologist in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:
    Conducting psychological evaluations, including clinical interviews with families and patients Developing a list of measures to be administered, administering and scoring measures, providing feedback to families, and completing documentation This position also involves completing psychological consultations and targeted evaluations for patients who are hospitalized as well as patients seen in multidisciplinary clinics. Instructor/Fellows will consult with medical providers and participate in clinical case presentations at care team meetings. Finally, the position will involve completion of a clinical research project and presentations during seminars.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
    Completion of APA-accredited doctoral program in clinical psychology, child psychology, counseling psychology, or school psychology

Condition of Employment:
    Must successfully pass a drug test through Children's Hospital Colorado Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications:
    At least 6 months experience in a pediatric psychological setting during internship training One or more first author, peer-reviewed publications Two or more first author poster presentations Bilingual Spanish/English

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    Ability to test children ages birth-27 Successful at working independently Proficient writing skills Excellent oral communication skills Knowledge of MS Word and SPSS

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

$60,000 - $80,000

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
