About MK:U
MK:U is a new approach to undergraduate education, focusing on new technologies and widening participation in STEM. Based in Central Milton Keynes and designed to fill urgent skills gaps in digital and technology industries across the UK, we aim to bring the future closer. MK:U courses focus on the student s application of learning to real business and social problems using problem-based learning. MK:U is part of the Cranfield educational family; our degrees are designed with industry and backed by Cranfield University.

About the opportunity
Reporting to the Education Lead, you will undertake academic duties including designing, developing and delivering modules on MK:U courses and setting and marking assessments. In addition to this you will have overall responsibility for a course, either the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship or Professional Skills across all MK:U courses.

About you
We are seeking people to join our team who are as a passionate as we are about the educational needs of the current and future workforce. You will, most likely, have undergraduate education experience in a subject matter related to Business and Management. Alternatively, you may have postgraduate education experience with evidence of innovation in your educational approach.
You will have an advanced degree in your subject area (Masters or above) and/or a qualification in education (e.g., a Postgraduate certificate in Academic Practice) Experience or knowledge of problem-based learning and/or industry experience would be an advantage.
To be successful in this role you will be a flexible, adaptable decision-maker who relishes the challenge of a fast-paced and changing environment. You will be well organised and able to organise others. You will be capable of working to tight deadlines but adaptable enough to react when circumstances change.
