Position Description:
Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, the Orthopedic Technician (OT) will serve patients and assist clinicians of the Arthur Ashe Student Health and Wellness Center. The OT will primarily work with Sports Medicine Clinicians and Orthopedists, but may work in other departments within the clinic as needed. The OT will perform specialized patient care tasks, including casting, changing dressings, measuring and fitting of orthopedic braces and other devices and educating patients.


Special Instructions:
PLEASE NOTE: Salary is based on years of relevant experience as an orthopedic technician. Work hours may vary between 8:00am-5:00pm and 9:00am-6:00pm based on operational needs in the clinic.

In the "Additional Document" section, please upload a copy of your current Orthopedic Technician Certification by either NBCOT or ASOP and CPR Certification. We accept the following CPR certifications for Healthcare Providers:
BLS for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association
BLS for the Professional Rescuer from the American Red Cross
