Duties:

The Manager of Theater Operations and Services of the Fine and Performing Arts Center serves as the primary front-of-house employee and supervisor. This position is responsible for the daily operation of the box office as well as the successful front-of-house operations for all events in the Fine and Performing Arts Center. The Manager of Theater Operations and Services of the Fine and Performing Arts Center is dedicated to the learning college concepts by developing programs and facilitating activities that promote student success and lifelong learning.

Essential duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1. Supervise daily operations of the Fine and Performing Arts Center Front of House and Box Office.2. Set criteria for all ticketed events.3. Operate the online ticketing software.4. Provide training on the ticketing software and all daily box office and event to all box office employees.5. Provide necessary box office and marketing reports.6. Maintain financial records for box office and concession sales.7. Prepare daily financial deposits and monthly revenue reporting.8. Supervise house manager and volunteer usher corps.9. Order and oversee all concessions inventory.10. Manage donation requests for FPAC tickets.11. Advance all ticketing, hospitality and front of house needs with guest artists.12. Oversee all rental inquiries and contracts in conjunction with the technical theater staff.13. Create program copy for FPAC events.14. Update all website copy in conjunction with the college marketing department.15. Update FPAC events on the college’s master calendar.16. Notify the campus police, campus operations, and others about FPAC events.17. Create and schedule all social media content in conjunction with the FPAC director.

Education/Experience:


Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing, communications, arts management, or theater preferred. Two to four years in box office operations preferred. Experience with computerized ticketing systems and experience working with volunteers required.

Background in theater as evidenced by course work or related experience; evidence of good supervisory, excellent communication and public relations skills; ability to perform basic accounting tasks as associated with box office operations. MUST WORK WEEKENDS AND EVENINGS whenever an event is scheduled in the Dorothy Menker Theater or the John and Angeline Oremus Theater.

Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
