Research Coordinator II/III
Job Description:
Regularly meets with the Consortium Director to successfully execute the Consortium Interfaces with UF Research offices to ensure compliance with project reporting and adherence to project budgets. Proactively manage and communicate ongoing changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans. Ensure comprehensive and seamless project post-implementation transition post-award. Effectively communicate and set expectations for project team members. Execute financial management of the consortium including monitoring and budget projections as well managing the extended travel and professional scholar development programs.
Collect quarterly reports from participants and designs and assembles quarterly/annual reports to be sent to NNSA. Maintains graduate student data and upon request of NNSA, will provide student activities data to NNSA. Maintains data on publications and presentations produced by the Consortium participants.
Maintains Consortium website (cnf.eng.ufl.edu) and consistently updates materials on website to be reflective of the Consortium activities.
Coordinates and attends annual workshops with Consortium participants and NNSA. Coordinates monthly meetings and ensures these meetings are recorded and posted on the Consortium website. When we are responsible, assists in coordination of the University Program Review with NNSA.
Other duties as assigned.
Expected Salary:
Level II: $40,000-$50,000; commensurate with qualifications and experience
Level III: $65,000-$75,000; commensurate with qualifications and experience
Minimum Requirements:
Level II: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Level III: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience; or a bachelor's degree and four years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to think independently and make responsible decisions in a professional and courteous manner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer/software skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple administrative tasks.
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate work assignments.
- Knowledge of university policies and procedures.Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and WordPress websites.
