Job Summary

The Professional Research Experience Program (PREP) encourages applications for a Visiting Researcher!

This position is part of the National Institute of Standards (NIST) Professional Research Experience (PREP) program. NIST recognizes that its research staff may wish to collaborate with researchers at academic institutions on specific projects of mutual interest, thus requires that such institutions must be the recipient of a PREP award. Employees in this position will perform technical work that underpins the scientific research of the collaboration.

This position will involve research related to atmospheric chemistry, in particular related to frequency-comb based instrumentation. Research will include acquisition and analysis of open-path data acquired with dual-comb spectrometers. The position will include contribution to reports, conference proceedings, and/or journal articles that describe the results of the research.
