ROLE: Provide assistance and support to the Program Director, Assistant Director/Academic Advisor, and faculty/staff of the Healthcare Programs. All activities of this position are to make a contribution to the fulfillment of the mission of the University, School of Health and Human Sciences, and the Healthcare Programs. ROLE: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
  • Front desk duties: Answering doorbell, phones, greeting guests, screening visitors, maintain and update front lobby marquee, update photo gallery, ordering office supplies, google room booking calendars, party planning, ordering of food, Birthday cards/Christmas cards, sort and distribute office mail, replace dept hand sanitizers, water filters (keurigs, student water dispenser, faculty fridge), clocks in classrooms (change with daylight savings, replace batteries as needed)
  • Act as the Suite Safety Monitor : Supervise student employees, ,assisting nursing students with their needs
  • Compile and manage Immunization Tracking for all nursing students, Faculty clinical compliance and filing of documents
  • Set up clinical visits for Director/Asst Director, Proctoring exams
  • Create and process Reimbursement, check requests, purchase orders
  • Travel planning for Director/Asst Director
  • Door/Open lab calendar updates and posting
  • Assist nursing committee(s)
  • Policy addendum collection of student signatures
  • Communication with University services: repairs, issues
  • ABSN Add/Drop forms for students, Filing for ABSN
  • Appeals committee set up and minutes
  • NCLEX Result tracking/Job tracking
  • New Adjunct Faculty Process: create folder, set up interviews, give applicant HR paperwork
  • New Hire Processing: Collaborate with SHHS AA and HR to ensure onboarding paperwork completed, welcome email, keys, nametags, business cards, equipment request, Bb Nursing Resource, handbooks, update rosters, BRN approval, CEUs, etc.
  • Graduation/Pinning: prep Velcro for pinning, student slideshow/student speech, prep nightingale lamps, create/print sign award certificates, Graduation honor cord distribution, print and hang grad photos
  • Supports the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing in the nursing programs in all administrative details: Manage meetings/commitments, conference calls etc. that fit the Director of Nursing's schedule. Prepare agenda, arrange meeting facilities and act as recording secretary; prepare minutes at assigned meetings. Handle all inquiries with capacity and route calls as needed
